About the Event
Wondering what all the buzz about assisted stretching and mobility training? Are you a licensed bodyworker wanting to stay competitive and utilize your current skill set in order to offer something better than cookie cutter table stretches? Want to add more value to your services or offer a completely unique and separate service in addition to massage therapy?
Then this is the workshop for you and we're happy for you to join us for a weekend immersion in assisted stretching. The course is approved for 21 Hours of CEs by th NCBTMB, includes two and a half full days of instruction followed by one hour long stretch therapy session offered by the instructor for each participant.
This course is an addendum to a program of assisted stretching called Integrative Stretching (IS). The goal of IS is to provide personal trainers, coaches, massage therapists, fitness professionals, movement therapists, and bodyworkers with an extra set of techniques and skills geared towards improving functional movements of their clients through assisted stretching and soft-tissue manipulation techniques.
This particular course takes IS principles and techniques to the next level by utilizing more advanced flexibility training methods in order to promote greater active range of motion. The sequences, drills, techniques, and exercises taught in this course will prepare participants to work with clients who need a more well rounded flexibility training and movement practice.
